ETÉREA is a boutique travel studio based in Buenos Aires, designing private journeys through Argentina for those who prefer depth to itinerary-checking. We work with a curated number of accommodations and experiences across the country's regions: Patagonia, North, Mendoza, Iguazú, Antártida, and Buenos Aires. Building trips around place, pace, and attention rather than a fixed list of inclusions.
-
We don't sell packages. Every journey is built for the traveler in front of us — their season, their appetite for stillness or movement, the version of Argentina they're looking for. We work exclusively with properties and partners who share our standard: small-scale, considered, and rooted in their landscape. Nothing on our itineraries is generic by accident.
-
For most journeys, 6 months or more ahead gives the best access to the properties and experiences we recommend, particularly for Patagonia in peak season (November–March) That said, we welcome later inquiries, reach out and we'll tell you honestly what's still possible.
-
It depends on where you're headed. Patagonia and Antártida share the same window — November through March, spring into late summer, when the routes south are open and at their fullest. Salta and Jujuy, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Iguazú are rewarding nearly year-round, each with its own high notes (harvest in Mendoza runs February–April). And winter shouldn't be overlooked: it's when Mendoza's remote heli-skiing comes into its own, one of the more extraordinary, least-crowded ways to experience the Andes. We'll help you match season to region — or region to the season you already have in mind.
-
Ideally, longer than you'd think, and with fewer stops. We recommend a minimum of four nights per accommodation, enough time to actually immerse and enjoy, rather than pass through it. Two regions comfortably fills two to three weeks. We're glad to build something shorter, but we always recommend between three to four-night minimum per stop.
-
Either is a real starting point — it depends on how you like to plan. Our Collections (Trail & Ice, Ski & Wine, and others) are curated journeys with a defined arc: the region, the pace, and the properties already considered and sequenced. They're for travelers who want the thinking done, with room left to adjust details. A fully tailored trip starts instead from a conversation — your dates, your version of Argentina — and we build the arc with you from nothing. Many journeys end up somewhere in between: a Collection as the frame, tailored where it matters to you.
-
There's no fixed rate card, because no two journeys are alike. Cost reflects the region, the season, the properties involved, length of stay, and the level of exclusivity built into the itinerary. What you're paying for is also a particular kind of luxury: raw, remote, immersed in nature — scarcity is where the value sits.
